The multiculturalism of Berlin is reflected by its diverse range of culinary genres. Traditional German fare is generally quite rustic, hearty food - with pork, goose and potatoes the key ingredients. There is also a strong Turkish/Arabic influence to be found in the city's food, with favourite dishes such as falafel and donor kebabs readily available, and at a very high quality.
