"Eurowings becomes the 26th air carrier in Europe to join the FlighPass program since it was launched three years ago," said Bill Wolf, President of EuropebyAir. Eurowings operates schedule service from Germany to England, Spain, France, the Netherlands, Switzerland and flies domestically within Germany. "From the Eurowings base in Dortmund, our passengers can use the $99 FlightPass to fly to London, Paris, Zurich, Milan, Berlin, Stuttgart, Nuremberg, Munich and Dresden," said Wolf. Since Dortmund is only 35 miles from Dusseldorf, pasengers can also transfer between airports and fly to the Mediterranean on other Flightass carriers who serve six destinations in Greece, four in Spain, two in Croatia and to Milan, Italy. Eurowings also offer service to international and domestic destinations from Nuremberg, Paderborn, Muenster, and Berlin. Eurowings, one of the largest independent airlines in Europe, received the European Regions Airlines Association's Silver Award in 2000. Eurowings operate a fleet of 47 aircraft consisting of Airbus 319s, Bae146s, CRJ2000 and ATR42 and ATR 72s.
